We have already anlalyzed the features of the new version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, and we have remarked the new block system by facial recognition. We have had any several doubts about its correct running and now we can say that these doubts are resolved: users have found several errors.
This technique is a new feature based on facial recognition and allows an owner of an Android 4.0 phone to unlock the phone just putting your face in front of it. This feature makes it possible in practice to the user to have access to the terminal without having to enter password.

Android Face Unlock fooled
There is a video circulating on the internet where it is shown how the system fails when we show a printed image on a screen as the patron that allows unlock the phone. The phone used for the experiment is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus offering a preview of Android 4.0. Via this video they show that the display has a photo on another phone just to trick the facial recognition program.
While there are accusations in the YouTube comments the user managed its phone to unlock deliberately when he presents a 2D image of himself, we imagine that the experiment is being recreated at the Google headquarters right now. We hope that this demonstration encourages Google to improve its program before the official version of the OS release in the closer future.
